Love Island star Georgia Steel has been dating a convicted fraudster who was jailed for four years after pretending to be former Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta.

Georgia has been dating Medi Abalimba for several weeks and the pair were spotted looking loved up on the weekend as they enjoyed a day in central London.

But Medi has now revealed that he didn’t tell Georgia about his past until she was contacted by press about her new love, and he has called their romance ‘a beauty and the beast story’.

‘I told her everything.

She wasn’t judgmental. I don’t want her career affected,’ he said.
