From Jan. 15-17, the convention took place at the Miami Airport Convention Center, starting the new year for comic and film fans off with a bang.
Fresh off the critical acclaim of the new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the convention featured two big names from the Star Wars franchise: Mark Dodson and Dave Prowse.
Prowse portrayed the nefarious Darth Vader in Star Wars Episodes IV-VI and Dodson portrayed the despicable assistant of Jabba the Hutt, Salacious B.

The convention also featured Brent Spiner from the Star Trek franchise, who played the android, Data in the Next Generation series. Star Trek is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
From the “Dr.
Who” Sci-Fi series, the convention hosted a cast of actors including Jenna Coleman, Billie Piper, and Peter Davison.
